When Maurici Badía, our founder, wanted to decorate his apartment with handmade designer furniture that only used sustainably sourced wood, he soon realised that no company could offer him that service. With this in mind, he started making pieces himself in his parents' garden and then sold them online, using Instagram as his main channel.

And so Hannun was born, a brand propelled by social media and has been on a growth trajectory since its inception, generating € 4.1 million in net revenues in 2021 (CAGR* of 103% between 2019 and 2021).

We use recyclable materials that do not pollute the environment: certified sustainable or recovered wood, non-toxic varnishes and natural fibre textiles.

REUSE MARKET: BETTER THAN NEW.

Because there is nothing more sustainable than products that already exist.

We extend useful life of our pieces through our REUSE MARKET, the part of Hannun that gives a second life to the furniture stored in our workshops. This range consists of pieces that we have already used in photo sessions or showrooms that still feature excellent quality.

WE BELIEVE THAT THE BEST TREES ARE THE ONES THAT ARE NOT FELLED

We strive to ensure that felling of trees becomes a distant memory. Although Hannun only works with wood sourced from controlled forests, there is no wood more sustainable than that which doesn’t need to be produced in the first place.

The key to a cleaner future is to reuse resources instead of generating them again.

For this reason, we work alongside the Red Cross and other organisations like Illersis and Fupar, to employ all different kinds of people, including those with functional diversity and communities at risk of social exclusion.

Making all our furniture with 100% recycled wood is our goal. Production that is free from felling. We also strive to use other materials that solve serious problems like plastic. Working with recycled plastic or eliminating the use of screws to make it easier to recycle furniture.

Achieve a reduction in our stock to prevent the creation of waste and work on a per-order basis to ensure that we do not generate unnecessary waste. Developing a system in which the customer can return their furniture once they no longer need it , meaning we can give that wood a second lease of life.

Continue working on a system that ensures the minimum amount of CO2 is emitted into the atmosphere, grouping shipments by areas and establishing a SLOW shipment process that is friendly to the planet.
